Dennis Couldn't believe his luck had run out so soon, not now not like this, he was in a big mess, he would have quit when he was winning, he was beginning to suspect he had been conned or maybe he was just too greedy, he looked around there was an uneasy silence, everyone looked at him, in shock, he had be on a roll all night, and just this awful hand he had lost every dime he had won, and walked into the casino with, worst of all he now owed the man sitting at the other end of the table a whooping $50,000.
Capo and his crew were getting impatient, one of his thugs approached him, you owe the boss $50,000, hand it out now or your history , after saying that he flashed Dennis his concealed piece.
Dennis stood up abruptly,this triggered a chain reaction, 6 of the boss goons had instantly reached for this guns and were pointing their guns all in his direction, he froze raised his hands, guys take it easy I'm not trying anything funny,just trying to use the ATM machine around the corner. The Boss asked two of his goons to accompany him.
He went up to the ATM machine , brought out his credit card, he had already maxed out the card, he didn't have a dime on the card , in fact he was behind on the repayments, he just needed to stall these goons long enough to think of an escape plan, he wasn't ready to be a bitch for these thugs .
Dennis watched them from the corner of his eyes and delayed as much as he could at the atm , he saw a patrol car drive by and the goons quickly tried to act inconspicuous, one turned around and the other walked back into the casino, that was his moment,
he ran across the road, the goon saw him but couldn't give a chase, he raised an alarm but they had to wait for the cops patrol car to drive down the street , as they were all carrying unregistered firearms, as soon as the coast was clear, they chased after him, all very very pissed, the boss told them not to come back if they don't get him, dead or alive .
He ran as fast as he could, looking over his shoulders to see if they chased him.
How quickly the small fan club he had amassed over the course of the evening dispersed, he was sweating and nervous
